About

According to Antoine Teuf, a 31-year-old Web and video game developer from France, Worldle was inspired by Wordle, but it is not the same game. Users of Worldle can play the game once each day and publish their scores on social media using tiny square emoji in the colors green, yellow, and black to indicate how quickly they guessed correctly.

How to play

In contrast to Wordle, which offers players six chances to guess a daily word, users of Worldle are given six chances to identify a single country or area based solely on the shape of its outline.

Players of Worldle are shown on a map how far and in which direction their incorrect nation guess is from the correct country.

Users of Worldle can increase the difficulty of the game by either hiding the country or territory's image or rotating it in an arbitrary direction.
