Simple Word Search

Simple Word Search brings a refreshing yet familiar feel. The game offers pure, casual fun. You have just one single goal: conquer the mysterious letter grids. The moment you enter the game, a square grid packed with Latin letters welcomes you. They look scrambled at first, but hidden within is a neat, clever order. Right above the grid is a list of target words you need to find.

Your job is to spot every hidden word in the grid and cross it off the checklist. These words can run in several different directions. Every time you find a correct word, a bright color highlights it on the grid. At the same time, it gets crossed off your list. The round only wraps up when the word list is completely clear and the whole letter grid is solved. Keep pushing yourself with higher, tougher levels.

DEEP GAMEPLAY

The rules of Simple Word Search are very straightforward. You cannot make turns or bend words in the middle. Every valid word always sits in a strictly straight line. Letters on the board can be shared across multiple words. A single letter might be the crossing point of a horizontal word and a vertical word. This creates clever interlocking word patterns.

To pick a word, you just need to move your mouse cursor over its first letter. Next, players will click and hold the left mouse button. Then you will drag the highlight line straight across the remaining letters all the way to the last one. Finally, players need to release the mouse button. If your selection matches a word on the list, the system locks that color highlight in place.

How to connect words

  • Click and hold the first letter.
  • Drag your mouse in a straight or diagonal line across the letters to form a valid word.
  • Let go once your cursor hits the final letter and wait for the result.

Fun tips

  • Pick a word from the list and spot its first letter. After that, scan the grid to track down the second letter.
  • Look out for uncommon letters to pinpoint hidden words almost instantly.
  • Scan row by row or column by column so your eyes and brain don't get overwhelmed by the letter grid.
  • Knock out the shorter words first so you can save your mental energy for the longer, trickier ones.
