The game capitalizes on the Wordle craze but scales it up to the level of an entire censored document. Certain words are always visible—articles, prepositions, and auxiliary verbs like “the”, “a”, “is”, “on”, “it”... along with all punctuation marks. These form the skeletal framework of the sentences, forcing players to visualize the missing textual "flesh" surrounding them. A common strategy is to start with words that appear frequently in all Wikipedia articles: common proper nouns, common verbs, or categorical nouns. Revealing a single word can make surrounding phrases easier to guess. Sometimes, uncovering just one complete sentence is enough to identify the topic. At other times, you might have to piece together dozens of words before realizing whether the subject is a historical figure, a scientific event, or an abstract concept.

Shifting Strategies As The Article Emerges

Start with extremely common words to reveal multiple locations simultaneously.
Observe the remaining sentence structure to guess the missing part of speech (noun, verb, adjective).
Once you have a few key terms, switch to guessing related specialized phrases.
If a word appears frequently, it often holds central importance to the article's subject.
Patiently eliminate approaches that no longer align with the revealed fragments.
