In Festie Words, players need to use the mouse for all controls. You will simply click and hold the left mouse button on the first letter of a word. Then, you will drag the cursor in a straight line across the next letters. You need to release the mouse button once you reach the final letter. Players can connect letters horizontally, vertically, or diagonally.

When you connect a word correctly, it gets highlighted in a bright color. At the same time, that word is crossed off your task list, showing your progress. You can clear the level once you find every word on the list.
