Step into the sweet candy world of Candy World Saga. Julie and Mark are a very sweet-toothed couple. They have an endless passion for all kinds of candies. From jelly beans and lollipops to rich chocolate bars. This passion is so big that they can eat candy from morning till night without getting bored. They even do not care about the health consequences. The bottomless sugar craving of the two kids has made their parents extremely desperate. After many failed counseling efforts, they decide to seek a local help. They want to ask for help to control their children's sweet addiction. The kind but very strict witch offers to take Julie and Mark to the Sweet Land. This is a mystical kingdom where sweets grow everywhere.
However, every fun has its conditions. The witch has set a strict challenge. Before the children can enjoy the sweets, they must complete a series of challenge tasks set by her. As a reliable guide, players will accompany Julie and Mark. You need to help them solve tricky puzzles and collect enough required candy amounts. Will the kids' love of candy make them lost? Or will they resist the attraction of sweets to successfully complete the mission and return home? The answer depends entirely on your wit and cleverness.
IN-DEPTH GAMEPLAY
The mechanism of Candy World Saga is the traditional match-three genre. Your task is to create horizontal rows or vertical columns containing at least three identical candies. You will click on a candy. Then you drag and drop it to an adjacent square (up, down, left, or right) to swap the positions of two candies. When successfully matched, these candies will automatically explode. They make room for new candies falling from above. Each level sets a specific goal. For example, achieving a certain score, collecting enough red or blue candy amounts. Or you must break obstructing jelly blocks. The key point is that the number of moves in each level is strictly limited. If players run out of moves without completing the goal, the game will end immediately. You will have to restart that level.
Candy types
When players make advanced matches, candies with large destructive power will appear:
- Striped candy: Created when you match four candies of the same type in a straight line. The striped candy will sweep away an entire horizontal row or vertical column on the board.
- Wrapped candy: Appears when players match candies in a T or L shape. This candy acts like a small bomb. It will explode twice consecutively and clear the surrounding squares within a three-by-three range.
- Color bomb: This is an invaluable treasure created when matching five candies of the same type in a straight line. When you swap the color bomb with any adjacent candy, all candies of that same color will be blown away.
Operation method
- Hold the mouse on a candy.
- Drag the mouse to swap positions with one of the surrounding candies.
- Release your hand so that at least three candies of the same type explode.
Playing tips
- Prioritize making matches at the bottom of the board.
- Focus entirely on the level goal. Do not get too distracted by matching candies not in the mission requirements. Unless doing so helps you create special combinations.
- Maximize the power of combining special candies together.
- Always observe the entire board before making a movement decision.
