Wordlelator
Wordlelator is not just a simple clone of the original Wordle game. It takes things to a whole new level. Here, basic letters turn into intense mind games. This unique spin-off was built to satisfy your endless love for word puzzles. Beyond cracking secret words, you can build your own tricky word mazes from scratch. Thanks to the custom puzzle builder, the theme and target word are totally flexible. You might run into an academic term, a movie reference. Even an inside joke nickname only your close friends understand. Enjoy a deeply personal, surprising experience with every single round!
IN-DEPTH GAMEPLAY GUIDE
On PC, players have two ways to play. You can type letters directly with your physical keyboard. Once you are sure of your guess, just press Enter. Players can also use your mouse to click on the letters.
The game uses an easy color-coded feedback system:
- Green clue: The tile turns green when the letter is in the correct spot. Keep this letter in the exact same spot for your next guesses.
- Yellow clue: The letter is in the target word, but it is currently in the wrong spot. Move it to a different position in your next turn.
- Gray clue: The letter is not in the target word at all. Leave this letter out of your future choices.
Also, if the puzzle creator set up a hint, a glowing lightbulb icon will show up. Whenever you get stuck, click the lightbulb to read a helpful hint from the author. If the puzzle is too hard and you want to stop, click the red X icon to give up. You will see the correct answer right away.
Custom wordle tool
You can become the game developer yourself with this feature. You can:
- Enter any secret target word with your preferred length.
- Set the maximum number of guesses from easy to super hard.
- Enable unlimited guesses so players can experiment freely.
- Reveal the starting letter to make things easier for beginners.
- Enter the creator's name.
- Set a title for your puzzle.
- Write a custom victory message that pops up when someone wins.
- Write a hidden hint linked to the lightbulb icon.
Once you are done setting it up, the game automatically generates a unique link. You can easily copy and share it with your friends.
How to control in Wordlelator
- Use your physical keyboard to type the letters. Or use your mouse to click keys on the on-screen keyboard.
