Wordle Practice

Wordle Practice gives players unlimited five-letter rounds with a new word every game. Each answer is drawn from a dictionary of 18,528 words, so there is no daily cap and no account to create. Best of all, nothing here touches the official puzzle, which means today's streak stays completely safe.

Wordle Practice Gameplay

Players guess a hidden five-letter word in six tries, exactly as in the daily game. The tiles colour after each guess to score it, and a New Word button starts a fresh round the instant players want another go.

Reading the tiles

• Green: The letter is correct and sits in the right spot.
• Yellow: The letter is in the word but somewhere else.
• Grey: The letter is not in the word at all.

One detail catches players out. If a letter appears twice in a guess but only once in the answer, just one copy lights up and the rest stay grey.

How it differs from the daily Wordle

The official game serves one word a day. Wordle Practice instead pulls a fresh word every round from its 18,528-word dictionary, so players can keep going as long as they like. The mode is deliberately spoiler-safe: no word here will ever be today's answer, and playing never affects a streak on the real puzzle.
